"DayDream" was inspired by Alphonse Mucha's work. The lady pauses from reading Geoffrey Chaucer's "The Knight in Shining Armor" long enough to imagine herself in those times. Sprays of flowers encircle her. Each petal of each flower is hand selected to achieve color variation. Ring mottled glass was used in the flower petals.

Bogenrief Studios creates designs and glass for traditional settings such as: Windows, Doors, Transoms, Side-lights, Domes, and Lamps that can transform any space. The limits, scales, and possiblities of their pieces are only defined by your imagination.
This Ceiling, which was commissioned for a private collector's home in Chicago, IL, contains over 30,000 pieces of glass, is 20 X 20 feet on the perimeter, with a 14 foot diameter dome with a 3 foot high rise at the center.
Gallery Studio
This is a blown glass Chandelier produced at our Spencer Studio. This is "Cool Blue", approximately 5 foot in diameter and between 400 and 500 pounds. This chandelier is comprised of approximately 240 individual blown glass pieces. Other chandeliers with different coloring are also produced: "Sunburst", and "Cool Sunset". Chandeliers can be custom made to range from two to six feet in diameter.
Glass is blown to produce solid free-form sculptures and functional pieces of art.
Bogenrief Studios began a new adventure in 2003, with the addition of blown glass. They currently operate a blown glass studio in Spencer. At this studio, you can view blown glass demonstrations and browse many pieces that are available for sale.
